It took six months, but it is finally home.

The upside to the wait has been this forum. Learned alot from the corporate experience.

Truly an impressive machine. The 937mile trip was nice and it gave >20 mpg. The single low mileage was w/CA CARB (lo sulfur)fuel.

Now, I'm looking for a good dash cover ~ would anyone like to share thots/make recommendations?

TIA

odoh,

Congrats! as for dash covers, i had a "Dashmat" brand on my 97' which was great. I bought one for my HD at denio's flea market for $15.00 it seems to be well made and has all the proper cutouts. the dashmat brand was aroud $60.00. the only thing about the flea market brand was a fold in the middle, which took a couple weeks to flatter out..its fine now though!

Congrat's on the new ride!
Ditto on the Dashmat. I have one in my '01. It fits and looks great. The color (graphite) matches perfectly. It was a gift, so I can't comment on the $$. Even if they are a little pricey, go for it. I have had a Dashmat in my '85 since new, and it's just now starting to deteriorate. 17 years. Not too bad.
