Where did you get the Back Rack?

And, it doesn't look like it would work with a crossover toolbox? Or, will it?

I got my Back Rack at a local shop. Try any place that sells accessories for cars and trucks. I think that they are available from Galls also. They do have an application that has brackets to mount a crossover toolbox and there are many other brackets for lights, antennas, etc.
