Gee, I didn't have any trouble picking up a service manual in late '93 for my then-new '94 Ram Cummins...why is it so dern difficult to get one for this DMAX???? :mad: :mad: :mad:

When I had my ford, they had the service manuals and wiring diagrams posted on a web site. Can't tell you how many times I logged on to that site. Sure miss that capabililty, but not enough to go back.

For those of you who read my other post, you know that I've gotten the run around for months just like you. In light of GM's failure to provide the Service Manual as advertised, I intend to share this data with the State Attorney General. It is unfair for GM to purposely withhold the Service Manuals. Stay tuned.

Count me in for the "temporarily out of stock" service manual. It's pure BS for a manufacturer to put a product out there, and not offer service manuals for it. I don't buy into the idea that they're holding back the manuals to force us owners into taking it back to the dealership (Screw that!). It's my truck, I paid for it, I want the damn manual!! :mad: :mad:

I just checked the Helm website and the manuals GMT02CK8PU are still listed as "temporarily" out of stock, but I called the 800 number and I was told they are available and I placed an order for a set. I'm crossing my fingers hoping that they will arrive in 7 to 10 days as stated. I will let you know if they actually show up.

As of now I still haven't been notified by email that they are available. Helm must be taking lessons from GM Customer Relations! ;)

YES, they really do exist!!

Ordered my manuals on 08-20-02 and they arrived this morning 08-23-02 smile.gif :D smile.gif

After 11 months of "temporarily out of stock" Helm managed to actually deliver them in less than 3 days. This is the 5 volume set. I am finally going to be able to look at the manuals in depth at last. smile.gif

Think that someone higher up may have noticed these discussions about the manuals and moved things along? :rolleyes:
