View Full Version : ISSPRO?? What's up??

I've been trying to get IssPro gauges (boost and pyro) for my truck for the past couple of weeks. I have been dealing with Diesel Injection here in Dallas and they kept saying that they are still in transit. Today, I talked to DIS and they told me that IssPro had stopped producing pyrometers because of the Whistle/whine and that they have just restarted production of modified pyros.

Has anyone else had problems finding/getting IssPro guages or is DIS just blowing smoke up my tail pipe?

Yah, my favorite supplier told me IssPro was backordered there too. Now I'm really glad they were! The new Edge Attitude has pyro and boost info built in (it includes the probe I hear) and it costs around $300. Since separate pyro/boost gauges and mounts and special paint for the pillar mounts and all the trimmings are at least 2/3 the cost of the Attitude, I figure it's the best route for me, since I've already got the Juice. Might get withdrawal symptoms when I send the box back to Mother Edge for mods, but I can live with that.

They've been on back order, but a few trickled in last week. Time will tell if they are truly corrected.

Worst part with the whine was it was so hit/miss...

Don Wendlick from Isspro called me last week and said that they have the mysterious whistle/whine fixed.

Mine has that whine noise, irratating. I was gonna mention checking with Kennedy, but he seems to have same issues as DIS.

Looks like they are starting to trickling out....

DIS has finally gotten some, and I have an appointment on Wednesday for install.

Got the gages in yesterday...and they are quiet..

Amazing how fast the pyro reacts and how fast things start cooling off..

I can also watch my boost drop off when I shift...

The TR and GR units are now in good supply. The VWR is still in short supply...

Don Wendlick shipped me a new "black box"...I hope to get it installed this weekend and get rid of my whistle! :D

So JK....I got my Isspro gauges from you. Is this something you can warrenty in house? Do I just bring you the old black box?

Did Isspro request return of the old parts or leave you to dispose of them?
