The tweeter is hanging inside the speaker grill on drivers door. Pulled like heck --still won't release?? Is there a trick?

Funny you should bring that up....I just completed upgrading my system.....
The factory tweeters on my rig also one of the CHEAP plastic screw post were broke on EACH side and were being held by the sticky stuff (?) and one stud, with nut on the back side......How are you getting the grill off and back on??
You will have to remove door panel, which is quite easy ,to repair....
I custom installed to Alpine tweeters in the locations,by ,with old tweeter in place, with a 1" and 7/8 hole saw and a Dremal tool to open up the hole a hair, after the POS was out.....Then I used screws and clips, behind the panel to hold in place.....It came out SA-weet !!!!!!
Pics later today.....
Factory speakers are crap....

Thanks for info and pics!--but--one really weird thing I noticed!! Why are there Mockingbird feathers all over inside door??
Big
That friggen bird is still alive but has run out of ammo....Those berries he (she) has been depositing on my rig have since disappeared ;) (they "were" in my neighbors yard ssssshh)..... It should be a stuffed bobbing head ornament on my dash board......
