Had them before from Still, But see that there are alot more companies selling them now. Whos got what and how was it to install. Did it last on my old 95 checy just hacked off the 4 plastic bars on the grille, Drilled two holes and bolted her down with a slide nut or whatever those things are called, But now see that you can but a whole new grille with the inserts attached in already. Just wanna se what people got before I buy em.

Motovet,

I like your grill insert. Is there a place online that I can buy that one? Let me know. Thanks.

I know you guy's have Chevy's, but I installed a Trenz billet grill. My dealer has about 25% of the new trucks with them. It is a couple hour job cutting the GMC grill out and grinding the chrome ring down to the trim ring. http://www.picturetrail.com/gallery/view

I heard from several companies that "Precision" was by far the best maker of billet grills.

Bob,

That grill would solve the problem of having the GMC emblem or the bowtie directly in front of the tranny cooler. Have you noticed any difference in tranny temps since your installation? How much was it and where did you buy? Did you get your new motor yet from Capitol?

MattThis was the best price I could find. They also make them for Chevy's. http://www.sporttruckdirect.com/Trenz_Grills.html
Yea I got the new engine, well they said it is remanurfactured. It came complete heads and injectors. I have had it back twice with coolant leeks, and it blew the a hose off the turbo intercooler. It made a loud pop when it did this and sounded scarry. I am taking it back again next week because I am seeing a oil leek. It also has the same little lopey idal. The machanic say's it needs to be broke in. I know thats not the case because it has been doing this for 20,000 + miles. He is sick of this truck, and is moving in a couple of weeks and I will take back when he is gone to deal with this.
