Anyone have any recommendations on who makes a nice kit for lowering my truck. I'd like 3-4 inches in the front and 5-6 in the rear.

Norquist,I'm going down to pickup my newly droped 2500HD in about 1hr.I chose a 3/5 drop from DJM. It consists of lower control arms, shackles and hangers, new bumpstops and shims to correct the driveshaft angle. For shocks I chose to use BellTechs Nitros,I plan on a little shakedown cruise over known roads to get 1st impression,I'll get back to you

Norquist,no chance of pictures I'm on web-tv. As for first impressions, gotta love it. Ride is much smoother probably from axing the stock shocks, much more convieniant to load-unload cargo and myself.I would'nt call it slammed by any means, haven't got to park next to one but I'd say its a bit taller than a 1500.All in all I'm pleased upto this point,Can't say why but the stops on the overload spring now sit 1/2" from the spring pack instead of about1/8"so this could account for some of the smoothness.

I 2nd that. I have seen several lowered powerstroke and cummins dully trucks. I saw a lowered Duramax 3500 the other day and I felt sick. Should be a law against such nonsense.

Lowering a specific drag "truck" maybe. But a HD pickup???

If you re-read my orginal post I was asking for suggestions, not anyone's narrow minded opinons. I fugure "opinions are like rectums, everyone one has one, and they usually stink!

I've been gone awhile, bought a new trailer and it is'nt much different than a house if your a snowbird, way to much work. In anser to some of the posts while I was gone,"it's a matter of taste",mine or yours, since it's my truck I'll go with mine.As far as the 3500's I've seen lowered they're a 6x8 and it's to extreme for me,but to each his own.For my part I don't care if you like my truck or not,you don't pay fo it or drive it,nuff-said.
