I like the way the bigger rims make the truck look, but how is the ride? I don't tow too heavy,(about 8K)and don't tow often. Can you run lower pressures to improve ride( say 45lbs.)I am concerned about the stiffer sidewalls compared to stock tires. Im trying to avoid a harsh "slap" when the truck hits bumps or potholes. Thanks in advance for your input.

skidsteer loader,

The empty ride quality is stiffer with the 19.5" wheels and tires. Loaded, the highway ride is not much different - or maybe I got used to it... The added weight of toolboxes, TFI tank, lift gate etc. has likely improved the ride  . I've made trips from OK to OH with the family and no complaints from them about the ride quality..

A few things that should improve ride quality with the 19.5" setup:

1) Purchase LRF (load range F) tires instead of LRG or higher.
2) The Michelin XRV was designed for the RV crowd, and ride quality was a major goal of this tire - or so I was told.

3) Upgrade the OEM shocks.
4) Lower the inflation pressures depending on the load. IIRC, the max inflation for the LRF tire is 95 psi. I usually run 65 -70 psi all around.
5) Centramatic wheel balancers (http://www.centramatic.com) or Balance Master wheel balancers (http://www.balancemasters.com) make a HUGE difference, and are highly recommended.

I hope this helps. Also, try a search in the Drivetrain forum and the Accessory forum for 19.5, Centramatic, Balance Master etc. Good luck.

ON EDIT: Max inflation is 95 psi
