Used tires worth selling?

A buddy of mine gave me a set of 265/75R16 Uniroyal Tiger Paws that came off his 1500. They have less than 1K on them and look great. Question is, can I get anything for them on a trade for the tires that I want? I have never done this and don't know what to expect. I am hoping to get enough to offset the shipping and price difference of the online retailers. Maybe I can leave my money here in town instead and help out the local boys. Thanks in advance!
