Whcih would look better?

A diamond plate tool chest (sits below rails) in black or chrome? This will be going in a black truck. I know the chrome ones will eventually get a dull look from the sun but then again I guess the black will fade in the sun. What do you prefer or have in your trucks?

I have a black diamondplate in my black truck...can't imagine anything else, but then I prefer the monochromatic look. It's a little hard to see now that I have an angle-mounted 37" spare in the bed, but you can get some idea of how it looks in the pics below.

Some of the bright diamond plate boxes are clear coated now and stay shiny and resist fading. My buddy has a black box and it looked good new but, shows all the scratches now.

I have a black truck and I've been looking at toolboxes too. I think I'd like something shiny back there.
