If so, what do you have? If not, what do you have?

I've got a CC/SB and am looking. Thinking chrome for my truck and looking for feedback on what seems to hold up to normal use with minimal care. I don't want to have to polish or wax 'em!

Thanks!

Rich

I have MAAP stainless steel. They still look good after two years with no waxing or polishing.

I have a set of J&J Millenium Boards (http://www.j-jent.com/rbmilclatop.html) on my truck (http://image06.webshots.com/6/3/75/17/75037517JntVle_fs.jpg). The are basically a 3" Stainless Steel Nerf Bar with a SS Cover... a Nerf Bar look with the protection of a running board. Mine have been through two North East winters and still look new...

I also have the 4" SS PUTCO BOSS BARS (wheel to wheel) and the look great. They were easy to install as I done it by my self. They are a little tricky to get used to at first, but I would not trade mine for any other brand bar or step that I have seen or used. This includes westin ss bars.

I have the westin Platinum stainless steel black powdercoated bars. Lifetime warranty and they are pretty sturdy. Good price also.

Check em out here (http://www.truckaddons.com/Catalog/subpages/WestinStepBars1.asp).

I have Luverne polished stainless nerf bars. The price was right and all I've had to do is wash them.

IMHO the only bars to get are NASTA Stainless bars. They are 100% marine grade stainless steel, even the mounting hardware, I know of no other manufacturer that does that. They are heavy and very sturdy. They are molded and polished end to end with no plastic endcaps. They shine just like chrome, but won't ever rust. Also they make the wheel to wheel bars for your Duramax crewcab, something that's kind of hard to find. I paid around $420 for a set of those with free shipping included. Check out http://store.trexmotorsports.com they had the best prices I could find; they also sell through ebay, so sometimes you can get a better price there rather than through their online store. I also bought a matching set of bedrails a few months later. I'm very happy with the quality!
I had some westins on an old truck and they rusted out in only a few years. One day one side broke off and I ended up running it over in a parking lot. For a little more, these should last a lifetime. For a picture see: http://store1.yimg.com/I/trexmotors_1864_2106482
