E-mail response: "Yes, I still make them and they are still $25.00 each, but no they do not fit on a 1996 K2500. The hinge point is different and strap lengths are different.

Victory Red Is the vendor for the VRstraps. He slowed production, but is now back to making them. I got this info from another "site" that he has posted on. The web address is to place an order there is not a "site" to see the straps. VRStraps@wi.rr.com Also, he only seems to make them if he gets a big enough order. I suggest if you want them to E-Mail him ASAP because he is doing a run at this time...
I hope this helps those who want to purchase the VRStraps. I personaly think they are MUCH better the cables :D

Yes, VR STRAPS is alive. I ordered, recieved, and have installed mine last month. Love them.
