My '93 came with a snowplow on it, but no manuals or instructions. I can basically see how to disconnect and remove it. Online Meyers has newer manuals available to download, but the newer plows are slightly different.
This is probably a pretty stupid question, but I'd rather make sure than end up screwing something up.
It looks like to unhook things I have to put a jack under the plow frame to lift it up so that I can disconnect the chain from the hydraulic ram. This seems to be confirmed by the fact that the newer models have a fold-down jack (like on a trailer tongue). So, just put a floor jack under it and jack away?
Have to get this thing fixed up and inspected so I can actually use it when the snow flies. This morning was the first frost in our area and it isn't going to be long before the white stuff will be coming!
