Instrument lights out....what fuse?

I had my new backpressure guage temporarily hooked up to check the bulb color and blew something. I was powering from the ILLUM fuse and when I went to ground it..lights out. Now the instrument lights only work with the dome on. Anyone know what fuse I blew or what? I can't find anything.

It sounds like something is backfeeding.

I wish I could explain it better.

It seems that when the fuse blew something else happened and now the dome light is powering your other lights.

RE-Check all wires that you dissconnected or spliced and make sure it's all still good.Try to put everthing back to stock and see if the problem goes away.

So far I can't find a blown fuse anywhere.

Light switch was bad. Dealer threw in a new one under warranty even though they knew I caused it somehow. Gotta love the small town dealership! No B.S. I hear so much about. As long as I am under 36,000mi. they will get it done.
