I'd like to know if anyone knows the cost of the APP forged 19.5" wheels. They don't require adaptors, because they come in the 8 bolt pattern. http://www.appwheels.com/lightdual.shtml

if i remember right from a thread on the ford-diesel forum, they are right around the same price as the weld stonecrushers... but i am not positive on that. they are cheaper than the ricksons though... those new retro 6's look real slick i think.....

Mowser,

Thanks for that info. I agree with Nick...the
retro 6's look great. I'll seriously consider
those when my tires need to be replaced. I
only have 11,000 on the truck yet!

I would like to know if tire prices are cheaper for these 19 inch wheels. Currently I pay 140.00 for the stock tire.

Has anyone installed these wheels and do they ride nice.

Do you get better tire mileage using 19 inch tires.

With the 19.5s I'm sure you can get 60k out of a set of tires. I am considering letting Stockton make some rims for me in that size, soon as I find out what backspacing is neesed. I'd be running the most agressive tire I could find though :D I'm buying 4wd to use it on more than a rainy highway ;)

the goodyear g124's are kinda agressive. you can get them in a 225/70 and 245/70 19.5 for dual applications. it would be kinda interesting to have a single wheel app. with a sus. lift and put on some 285/70/19.5's. that's about 35" tires..
