View Full Version : PICTURES---I HAVE PICTURES !!!!
I have had several request for pictures of my D-Max for everything from the hood deflector, the CB mount in the console, for the Bridgestone 285 Revos, KD Exhaust, etc, etc.
FINALLY had some free time this weekend and took some pictures. Click
Nice truck. How do you like the revos. I'm looking at getting a set for my wife's suburban. I have seen the reviews in tirerack and they seem like a great tire. I talked to the mgr at a nearby store and he said that next year they are coming out w/ bigger sizes 305/70/16 and 315/75/16. I will probably put on of those on my truck if money allows.

I dig the shine on that bad boy!! I also liked the CB install, but where is the antena and where did you drill the cab to get the cable through?

This is my 3rd set of Revo's. First was on my '97 Z71, they were the first set in this area. Next set was on my '96 3500.
They were vast improvements over every tire they replaced. Thats why 3 days after I picked up my new '03, I knew what tire I wanted to replace the 245 Donuts.
Ride and wet handling are their strong points. I have yet to find a downside to them. The '97 Z71 had 19,000 on them when I sold the truck. They still looked like new. I would highly recommend them.

JP Everything is in place "WAITING" on the stainless bracket for the antenna, being made by JERMCK :D He said they are ready so the check went in the mail this AM.
I used the existing plug behind the fuse box, behind the parking brake. I also brought in a size 01 cable to a fuse block directly off the battery and mounted it under the cup holder like someone else did on this forum. Also added a common ground in the same area. I have pictures, just not posted yet :(

HD-Nate, those revos look sharp. I was checking out the specs for the 285/75R16 and they recommend a 7.5-9" width wheel. If I remember correctly, the stock rims are only 6.5". Are you having any issues with uneven tire wear, etc? How about any tire rubbing? What psi are you running?
Thanks!

Ive been meaning to ask that same question to anyone with the 6.5" rims. A friend just put 285/75s on a 1500 but I think his stock rims were wider than 6.5"
Any problems with them on 6.5?
The rim width was a question that I posed to the Firestone dealer when I bought them. The owner of the store is a good friend of mine. His statement was that he has put 285/75
