Howdy all! Oh... my first post here. I am so nervous. Okay, that's out of the way!

I ordered my new 03 2500HD about 3 weeks ago and expect it to be in sometime in the next 3-5 weeks. I am a picky fella and the dealerships just didn't seem to have what I wanted.

First mods I plan to do are to add a front grille guard, nerf bars/steps, and taillight guards. However, I have found it somewhat difficult locating front grille guards for the 03 GMC HDs. I searcged and found a post about the WAAGs, but don't know what the $$ would be nor did they have any pics of the 03 GMCs.

I am looking for one in black (no need for flashy chrome/ss here). Does anyone have any recommendations or pics of one on their rigs?

Thanks all!

Sorry no pics for ya but my dad has a Mr. Pickup grill guard and it is pretty beefy. Look on any truck accessorie place. Summit, Jegs, JC Whitney are all accessory places. Manik is a pretty heavy brushguard that I have seen. Also, Ranchand makes a heavy full replacement bumper-grillguard in black. Just search and you will find.

I have the Go Rhino black wheel to wheel nerf bars and so far they work real well. I also have a ft.end replacement that I had on an 02HD I had to add a 90 deg angle on the upper mount to mount it correctly and remove the plastic section right under the grill. You can't tell that it is not for this truck.
I don't have the equipment to put pictures on the net :(

Do the Go Rhino side bars attcah to the frame, body, or both? I have seen some vendors advertise that those that attach to both cause stress and cracks as the frame and body move independently over the years. I find that a bunch of BS. I have run Smittybilts on my Jimmy for 10 years now. They attcah to both the body and the frame. Makes them feel much more solid. They have been through some VERY tough stuff and have no signs of weakness to show for it!

Anyway, how do the Rhino full length ones mount?

It is an 03 grill guard on a Sierra, but not an HD. Should be similar:

The Go Rhino attaches in 3 spots, on mine at least.
2 on frame with long bolts that go around frame
(no drilling of the frame) and one on the ft. leaf bolt.
