First off i would like to thank VaDmax2003. He was right on the money about the clutch being lose on the mirrors. Dont know how much of a PITA it would have been for the dealer to figure out the problem without his help. My inital post can be found here as well as VaDmax2003's diagnosis

New incoder for the 4x4, working mirrors, and a free oil change  I be a happy camper

On a side note the first thing the salseman said when he saw my truck was that the 265's looked good. Then he and the slaesmanager were rather intrigued by my 5" tail pipe. They made the comment that it looked/sounded good. When I went to pick her up the service manager asked what sized exhaust it was and I told him he said "thats what I thought......we were all debating how big it was". No one chastized me or told me I was going to spend an eternity in warranty hell. Every one had positive coments on it. Then again I wasnt taking it in for a spent turbo or anything(hopefully I never will) but hopefully they will keep thier tune if something does happen(knock on wood). I will be sure to yank my box before warranty work if I ever get one and need it done. No sense seeing exacty how much they will look the other way ;)

They did tell me(when I told em I was bringing it in for its free change) that Allision requires the changing of the spin on filter at the first change to retain waranty??? I did and told em I did(they said no problem but to document that I did). Never heard anything of this. Is it true of was the service guy either trying to drum up buissness or missinformed?

Phil, its recommended in the owners manual to change the alli spin at 5k. No BS.

Make plans for a road trip north on Oct 11, Diesel day in Grand Rapids.. Lots to do and see.. more info to come.
