I beleive the #'s are RS99295 (F) & RS99274 (R).

I ordered these RSX9000 series shocks from a local 4X4 shop. Great guy, very reputable. But the front units have not come in since I bought them first week in July. Got the rears.

Sure it was a great promotion but jeez, this is beginning to suck.

Anyone else waiting 6 weeks for shocks?

Just curious.
Thanks.

I ordered mine in early June and got them in about 3 days. However, several people were complaining about availabilty from lots of vendors. At that time Summit and Trailblazers were shipping almost immediately. You might split the difference with your local guy and order the other two from Summit.

couldn't help but notice your sig "aftermarket 8-track...more"
does that "more" mean you also have a 4 track?
(I thought I was the only one left that has 400 4 track and about 300 8 track tapes... smile.gif )

on another note, got my ranchos in about 8 days back in may with the buy 3 get 4th free from sams

d'maxdicko:::

The "more" would be the cassette adapter for 8-track. Properly shimmed for optimum play with matchbook of course.

Called Summit today, no idea on when they'll have them in stock. It seems the fronts are RS99288, not RS99295. There is a 9200# vs. 8600# difference in styles. I'm thinikng the HD is the 9200#.

The search continues.

wangotango,

I replaced mine with only 34 miles on the truck, I still have the orginal factory shocks.. (just in case)
the part numbers I have are:
RS99274 BACK < set for #2
RS99295 FRONT < set for #4
I also have the remote system, but haven't installed it yet
sure hope the ones I have are correct, how did you find the part #'s for the front?
thanks

I think the number difference is for weight rating.

As i know it the rears are all RS99274.
The fronts are *295 for 8600# and *288 for 9200#

I was thinking that all the 2500HD's were #9200.

I think it's the GVWR, mine says 9200.

I just got off the Rancho page.
It seems I was a bit confused.
How shocking.
Rears RS99274
Fronts RS99295

These numbers for 2001-02 2500HD, 3/4ton, 4x4, zero lift, 9200#

Whew, that was close.
Sorry.

Sorry Mister.

You'd think after 7 years of high school I'd be a bit sharper than that. But hey, I'm just a grease monkey.

No further questions.
