Has anyone installed a Warn light bar on the front of their truck? I have 2500HD CC and the Warn web site only lists a part for 1500 and 2500 models not the HD. Their customer support is very slow in answering questions so I figured I might get a faster answer here. Also what area on the truck do they use for the mounting points?

Thanks for any help

Hey Firemax,

Check the website again... http://www.warn.com/warn.nsf/pages/TruckProducts.MountingSystems.ApplicationListing.C hevyGMC.html
WARN lists the '01 SILVERADO 2500HD and 3500 Light Bar, Black PN 29395.
This should be the same setup if you have an '02.

Hey it's nice to see a few guys from the Bay Area. Grew up on the peninsula, San Bruno, So. City, Redwood City too! :D

CSDMAX AND TXDOC, Those part numbers are to the trans4mer mounting system. I'm looking at their straight light bar that mounts somewhere to the bumper area. If you go to Warns home page and click on truck/suv products then on mounting systems and bumpers look to the upper right hand corner and you will see the light bar I'm interested in. Thanks for the information.

CSDMAX,

I was raised in So. City and went to El.Camino high school. I have lived in Redwood City for 10 years now what a change in weather.

Good Luck

El Camino High School? ...booo...So. City High RULES!!! :D Just kidding.
Change in weather from SSF to RWC? Definitely! Try Colo. Springs at 6600 feet, nice and dry.

Hey I love the SSF weather, never have to put sun-screen on. :D . Mother nature supplies the AC 350 days a year.

STEVEM,

Stuck in the fog banks of So. Sh..ty, huh? You don't need sunscreen, thats for sure.

Well, I will be cruzin Nothern CA in mid August. And don't worry, I still drive like a crazy Californian not a lame Coloradan...I mean lame duck. If you see a Dark Carmine Red EC SB with Colorado plates give a honk...I'll spot ya if you are sporting a DURAMAX emblem. :D

So true about the weather. I just got back from Mom's house in RWC and the temp was 10 deg higher than SSF.
