Radio LED's

Got in truck this AM and fired her up to go to work. Made it main road and looked over at radio for the time. "No LED time" showing. Pushed radio control button, "No LED for station tuning". Radio was working fine just could not get LED to come on. OK I think I will swing by dealer on way home and ask. 2 miles further on down the road "bingo" lights come on. ????? any one seen this, not too concerned yet.

Sounds like you have a loose ground. Was the time correct?

Yep, time was correct. Thought about the ground but assumed radio would not operate if ground was shorted or loose. Did not get chance to stop at dealer on way home, will call and see if they can suggest something. (Yeah right, bring it in and let us look at it). :confused:

Check your dash light dimmer switch. If it is rolled all the way down (dash lights off) the LEDs will go blank as well. Most likely, your headlights were on (from the auto feature), and when they shut off, your radio lit up like it's supposed to...
