Pulled my first big load since switching to H2 wheels and tires. Weights were as follows:
Truck & trailer 31020 lbs
Truck 7360
Trailer 7660
Load 16000
Tongue weight 3160
This was on a 32 ft gooseneck. I pulled this load for 250 miles and got a whopping 8 mpg @ 60 mph @ 2200 rpm. It was from San Antonio to McAllen, Texas so the first 125 miles is rolling hills and not flat, the last 125 miles is flat. Had no problem with the tires and they looked like they had a load. If you add the truck and tongue weight you had 10520 lbs on the set of tires with most of the weight on the back set. I could not get an axle weight on the back set so I can't tell you what was there. This was a full load so I couldn't see any reason that these tires won't hold up. Thought the truck did great for pulling almost 24,000 lbs, transmission temp never went over 200.
