The Lucerix mirrors, are they equiped like the new 03's? Will the auto down, in, blinker, heated and "dimmer" work on these mirrors?

The Lucerix mirrors will not fit the '03 wiring harness at this time. The fix is in the works, but no word as to time. No signal mirror function yet either...

What is the auto down and in feature? This sounds interesting.

I've had the auto down/in feature on another vehicle - when you shift into reverse, the PS mirror moves down and in to give you a view of the curb. I don't know the specifics of the GM offering though, but would guess something similar.

BTW, I don't care much for it...but then not much parallel parking in OK ;)

MDRAG is correct. You can program the mirrors to move down for curb view. You can also manually retract, or rotate in, the mirrors for close spaces.

My Father-in-law's Park Avenue has the auto down feature, hate it. I don't want to see the road next to the vehicle. I want to see what's 10' behind me.
