View Full Version : Anyone have experience with Timbren aftermarket Aeon Rubber Springs
When I have my fifth wheel connected I drop my rear end down due to a drive axle weight of 6260#. I have Mich. 265 tires so my tire cap is acceptle but I need to beef up the suspension. A local very reputable and knowlegable auto/truck spring manufacturer and installer recomends the Timbren Aeon Rubber springs, I am interested to see if others have had experience with them.

I've had them in my 91 K2500 since 98. I installed them to help with my sander load in the winter. With a plow and sander this 8600GVW truck has weighed out at over 11k lbs more than once when getting filled with sand/salt. So far the Timbrens have held up fine and not distorted, and work great allowing me to only have 1 extra leaf in the spring pack.

I have had Timbren rubber springs on my last 2 trucks with the desired results. My Cardinal 5 th wheel with approximately 2300 lbs. pin weight drops the rear end about 2 inches on my 02 hd 2500 duramax.
Thanks for the info, I had them installed yesterday. The installer was a little concerned because they are only 3/8 of a inch above the axile. He was worried I may get a bouncing effect. If I am not happy they will space the springs up a inch.
