My Idaho personalized license plates for my new 2003 GMC 2500HD D/A CC SLT LB will be:

"DRMXDZL"

Anybody else have personalized plates with a 2500HD/Duramax theme?

Hey there conradv:

My Texas plates read "MAXED", and there's the cutest little "horny toad" (oops...bet that's not politically correct!)stamped on them (Texas Nature Conservation plates...horned toads are an endangered species here). You can see a pic of the plates on pic page below.

Good luck with the new truck!

Well,

There's no shortage of horny toads here, that's for sure! I wouldn't think there would be in TX either! :D

"1LKARCK" in Virigina was the best I could do for "LIKEAROCK"

I'll be one gratefully emancipated "toadette" in a few short months!

We have a bad combination brewing here! Diesel fumes and Horny toads. Thought about getting AKDMAX but I'm moving out of state in Feb.

Naaah, Uncle Sam says it's time to go after 7 years. Your just jealous because we have snow already!!! :D LOL. It's nice to be able to move around and see things you normally wouldn't. Stillwater, I used to frequent that place when I lived in Shoreview/Moundsview area.

OK, so here's another question: How do you pronounce Diesel? And where geographically is it pronounced different?

I know that the proper pronunciation is "DeeZle" (from what I've read about Rudolf Diesel, who was the inventor of the diesel-fueled internal combustion engine - which worked in 1879)

Here in northern Idaho, most pronounce it "Deesle", and I get looks when I pronounce it with a Z... smile.gif

My personalized plates are "GOP4EVR"
and they were signed personally by the Governor, to make them official:

One should always make a bold statement . . . .

AKDmax,

I know this is a long shot but here goes..

I stopped in a Detroit Diesel/Allison facility in Mt. Laurel NJ to get some TranSynd and a couple of Ally filters. The parts guy said man I got people ordering these things from Alaska.

I was wondering if it was you or maybe one of the other Alaska guys on here.

Johnson & Towers it the name of the place.

Not Duramax related but...

We just got a new 40' horse trailer with all the bells and whistles, and since you cant get personalized trailer plates in ontario, I got HOSSLIMO for the truck.

Hey,
Well for my plate I did "H DEE" sounds like "HD"
1 for heavy duty
2 for harley davidson
3 for harry & dee
It worked out in 3 different ways????

Nick, you made my day!!! I'd go for it. You might catch someone in a good mood that day. I saw one in Wisconsin I couldn't believe got through.

I have Army Reserve plates. Go figure MN won't let you personalize too.

The guy who does my gasser computer flashing has a duramax and his plate is "FLASH!T" he has the correct spelling. this is in CA, i can't believe that he got away with that. it stands for "flash it" which is his business. i say it stands for "full of sh!t"...someone at DMV wasn't watching...

When I open the cargo door on my jet, the freight people's first question is: "What's your "Allowable Cargo Load?" Hence..."MaxACL"

I was thinking about SHTMAG. It seems when Sh*t happens, its drawn to me like a magnet, hence the plate SHTMAG. I had my GTI registered in OR with that plate. When I was in Los Angeles a motorcycle cop pulled beside me at a light and asked if that means what I think it means. I said yeah, he pulled away laughing so hard I thought he was going to fall off his bike.

Dont know what the DMV in CT would think about this if I got it today.

DMAXDiva,

This (what you said) is what I must use at times to get the kids off Top Dead Center and back to work. Clear up to my knee!
