My wifey's Tahoe won't send any heat to the foot area on either side of the rig.

The stealer says thats just the way the new ones are and they have "fixed"other customers Tahoes by putting some duct tape on a vent or something to redirect flow somewhat. That sounds way to Mickey Mouse to me.

Anyone else have this heating issue or know a "quick and nasty" fix for this problem.

At this point I'd like to stick it up the service depts -$$ by telling them the right way to fix it.

I had a rented '01 Tahoe for a week while my rig was in the shop, and I now own an '03 Yukon XL. Both will put more heat to the floor than you can stand. I would say there is definitely something wrong with your rig. If you can find another Tahoe around I'm sure the heater would work right in it, take it to the dealer and tell em "see dipsh%t, it isn't normal!" :D :D

Also since yours is a Chevy, go over to a GMC dealer and ask their service department about it, since the rigs are identical mechanically.
