I've got the single CD head unit. Looking at the various websites it looks like the GM9-AUX is the correct adapter. However, in the installation guidelines appears this statement " AM/FM/SINGLE CD headunits use 9-Pin data port for an OEM cassette deck and are not intended for use with a CD changer." This is confusing me. Does this mean the line level adapter won't work or just that the external cassette deck is different from the CD changer. None of the retailers frequently mentioned on this site has returned my phone call(s) or email. I want my satelite radio!!!!! Thanx in advance.
I would like to solve this, too, as I want to be able to hook my iPod up to the stereo for long trips.

Spoke with Jason at JPCustoms, looks like I've got the correct part ID'd. It's in the mail and I'll post when I install in about a week.

Got the right part the first time!!! Took about 15 minutes to pop the dash, connect the harness, do a trial run and put everything back together. Make sure you don't have a CD in the player and there is a live signal coming from your device when you push the AUX button. It works great! Now I've got a couple of hours work running the XM antenna cable and making the receiver mount permanent. I love my truck! :D :D :D
