I have a 04 DMax, and I am thinking of getting EGT and Boost gauges. I am looking for advise on brand, analog vs. digital, and mounting locations.

Jim, I have the Quadzilla monster monitor digital gauge. It allows me see Oil Temp/EGT/Boost all at the same time. IMHO, the digital gauges seems to react a lot quicker than analog. I'm not real fond of pillar style mounts, so I put mine in the O/H console. Gives it a neat, clean, factory type look I think. If you want to see pic's, just click on the link in my sig. at the bottom, and select "photo albums". If you need any install info, give me a shout. Good Luck, DinoMax :D :D

I like the look and function of the Isspro gauges. I bought mine from www.kennedydiesel.com (http://www.kennedydiesel.com)

If you are going to chip your truck. Go with the juice and the attitude monitor. It's the best in the business in my opinon. It gives you EGT, engine temp, boost pressure, it adjusts for different tire sizes, gives actual ground speed with different size tires installed, change shift points, do 1/4 mile runs, 0-60 runs, the list goes on and on.

I was seriously planning on buying the Juice/Attitude, but then got to thinking about trips to the dealer. It's one thing to unplug the box and go in with aftermarket gages. Quite another to remove the pyro, plug, pull out wires, replace access plates, whatever you have to do to remove all traces of the Juice.
