accessory wiring

Wiring up my snow plow and lights and concerned about finding a keyed on hot without damaging anything important in the truck. thinking of
hooking into the panel on the firewall behind the brack pedal. anyone had any experience on this?

I go in to the junction box where you would plug in your t-brake wiring. I think that is also what you are talking about. just find a pin that is keyed battery voltage. I had trouble w/ one I hooked up down there and found the pin I used was only 5v. you can take your trailer wiring harness to your local dealer to find a similar terminal to properly fit the pin you want to use. after that, it's just as easy as putting the terminal on the wire, finding the unused pin that has the voltage you want and hooker up.
