View Full Version : "the finger"
I'm looking for something called the finger..
this is used on the 05 LLY motor when you use an after market down pipe and remove the cat.
When the down pipe is used on the 05 LLY motor it makes all kinds of power and then the Service Engine light comes on..some how the finger makes this all go away. Can anyone help me...

Ok, So I ordered a finger stick for my 05. (Just for off road use of course.) Is it going to be easy to install? How about some instructions from some of the mechanically minded.

This is an individual, not a company, no web site. Did you try emailing daedalus1@verizon.net

I don't have any direct knowledge, as it is an item for EGR bypass (mostly on the LLY engines) and I have a "48 state" LB7 with no EGR. There is a blockoff plate that prevents the EGR from feeding exhaust gases and carbon back into the intake. When installed, a self-check in the ECM will throw a low flow code and set a check engine light. The finger stick is a small circuit tied into the EGR control wiring that prevents the code and light. That's as far as I can go - try a google search for "Finger Stick"
