Anybody have any experience with Transferflows replacement tanks? I see on their website they now have replacement tanks available for 2001-2002 GMC trucks. I am interested in getting one of these, but would like to hear from anyone who has installed them.

Thank you.

They are great. I installed a 45 in my 2500HD D/A and it went in perfectly.

P.S. - It does hang down below the frame about 1.5 inches which may be an issue for you.

Dmaxenvy,

I installed the 56 gal TFI midship replacement tank with the fast fill fillneck option the end of 11/01. It is a first rate tank - but pricey...very pleased with THE TANK and would do it again without hesitation. It's one of the best mods I've done on my truck.

Here is one of many links on this subject:

Try the SEARCH feature and search the 2500HD/3500 HD TRUCKS & DRIVETRAIN forum. Most of the discussion on fuel tanks took place in that forum before the ACCESSORY forum existed.

There are pictures of my TFI tank install with additional details - check the link in my sig. :D

Thank you for the info! If I don't trade this gaser in for a DMAX, I will install THE TANK smile.gif

Any gaser's install the T/F tank? The site lists the tank for gaser's for 'non-OBDII only'. ???
