Looking for an older diesel Suburban...

Any guidance in what to look for or stay away from?
Do I want a 6.2 or a 6.5?

My 82 Blazer is kin to the enegizer bunny or should I say turtle. I dont need to go fast.

I was lucky with my 6.5 94 the previous owner spent $500 a month for six months replacing stuff under the hood before I got the truck & replaced the PMD AKA: FSD.

My paint started to flick like a lot of early 90's GM trucks you see.

The 94 is a much nicer truck, but to me the maintenance is not worth the difference in performance. But my use is to pull boats & keep the family safe.

Make sure you ask this same question on the 6.2 side.
