Can anyone suggest a site where i could maybe dispose of some obsolete VW FIP cores ? The local injection people aren't interested, someone somewhere might be...

I have a 85 VW golf that im restoring into a driveablity state for my 50 mile drive to work..... Is it true that a failed governer can cause the excessive smoke problem that i cannot seem to cure?
This thing is strait off James Bond!
1.Smoke screen
2.oil slick from blown seales due to blowby
