Just got the 3500 CC LB D/A SLE that I ordered in late August. What a truck! I'm really impressed with it. But, standing outside a few minutes ago and admiring it I noticed that there are no body side mouldings on the truck. I've seen 2500HD's that were SLE trim and they had trim on the lower part of the door, etc., but my SLE has no trim at all. Previous posts I've read said they had dropped the trim on the dually body, but I thought it would still be on the cab body. Looks like it needs something there. Factory screw-up, or are they saving a few dollars?

In '01 and '02 the 3500's did not have any bodyside mouldings. I think it's because of the dually fenders.

Nearly the same thing on the 2500HDs. My 2001, Summitt White had really nice black body side moldings. In 2003, Summitt White has a white/chrome (weird) door molding and nothing on the extended cab or box. 2001 definately looked better.

I too have a white 2003 GMC 3500. Mine is the SLT loaded.. And it did NOT come with any side molding. It just looks like it needs something to break up aii that white!!
GM just cuts too many of the details to save a buck... Guess I'll have to spend more money to finish what GM started...
