My dad is looking at a new D-Max, they are offering him pretty good trade in on his 02 CC 6.0 2wd gasser. He is looking at an 03 CC LB 4x4 D/A LS, sticker is 48k on it, there are a couple different rebates goining on, not sure on them though, but some are only if you dont take the financing or something. Just wanting to know what they are going for. Thanks

I bought my truck last week. (see signature). I agreed to 500 over invoice, but then I got them to throw in chrome nerf bars for 1/2 price, so I actually ended up paying about 250 over invoice. Also I was able to get $5500 in rebates (standard 3000 from chevy, 500 local incentive, 1000 for buying a duramax/allison, and an additional 1000 chevy loyalty rebate. You don't have to be trading in a chevy to get that, just own one). My suggestion would be to negotiate from the invoice price. Don't worry about the sticker price, that is just some fairy tale of a price that the dealer would love for you to pay.

White Duramax, you need to talk to Dave Kehl in Mechanicsburg ,Ohio. He is a straight shooter and will give you the best deal. I know , I bought a 2003 ext cab LB, LT, D/A all options with GM discount plus rebates plus GM mastercard out the door for right around 33,000. Sequoia

Got mine in April and opted for the cash deal. I negotiated the invoice price less the $3000 rebate. The dealer was pretty up front and showed me the invoice with the dealer hold back which is also on the invoice. Out the door, the price was $35,000 including tax, title, and registration with a $41,800 list. This also included add ons: bed liner, Westin nerf bars, Wade rails, and mud flaps.

Received my ordered truck in June from Marvin K Brown GMC in San Diego. Jennifer Brown (grandaughter of founder) and Tom Iarossi treated us like gold. We were one of the last 03 orders received prior to the cut off, so they gave us a great deal at invoice. We took the $3K rebate and also had a discount from our GM Card. The service manager and a tech came out to meet us and answered any and all questions about the truck...as long as we wanted. If anyone in southern CA is looking for a truck, go talk to these people. We checked out dealers from Las Vegas to San Diego. Price and customer service is unbeatable. :D

You shouldn't have to pay more than dealer invoice, less qualifying rebates. Dealer holdback on these units give them a profit of between $800 and $1000 typically. If the dealer won't show you the invoice, remember there are several on-line services that will calculate the dealer's cost if you have the option list. My experience has been that they are within pennys. Specifically I use Consumer Reports, but they do charge $12.95. I believe some services are free...I just like the independence of CR.

After trade-in etc... Out the door price was 36,500 on a sticker of 42k and change. And with 0% financing at the time, I am paying less than I did on my old 6.0L. :D

My 2003 GMC SLT D/A CC listed at $48,871. I added ext warranty.

With rebates and 0% it was a real deal. After 5000 miles I'm convinced this is the best vehicle I have ever owned. Let you know again after 100,000.
