My truck threw it's first SES light the other day so I took it to the dealer. Got it back today and the following was on the service order:
"transmission DTCS PO843/PO875 reverse ckt malfuntion tcc relief spring. R/R transfer case and transmission. R/R pump support R/R TCC relief spring and lube spring clean/install oil pump update kit per bulletin 03-07-30-011 update TCM module for fast learn."
Does this sound about right? I didn't get a chance to talk to the service guy very long but he said it was because of drain back from the torque converter.
I did a search but couldn't find anything on this subject. This is my first post, I've been lurking around here for awhile and think it's a great site so I finally decided to join.
Thanks in advance for your replies.

ARMSDMAX, first of all, welcome to the site smile.gif :D smile.gif It does sound right. There have been some issues w/ drain back in the converters. Sounds like you got a pretty good service guy. Did all the updates for you first thing, no questions  Some just clear codes, don't bother to check for TSB's, and send you on your way, only to have it come right back. Hopefully, it all got done correctly the first time, and you won't have to make a return trip. Good Luck, DinoMax :D :D

Dinomax,
Thanks for the response. After talking to two other people they have had the same problem with drainback from the torque converter. They told me that in their case they could put the truck into gear but it wouldn't move. I didn't have any problems like that. It threw the SES light as soon as I started it up. Oh well. At least it's fixed. I just wanted to make sure the codes matched what the dealer did.
As for the dealer, this is only the second time I've been there and both times have been a good experience.
Thanks again, ARMSDMAX

ARMSDMAX....Not sure which dealer you are using here in So Cal, but if you have any trouble with your current dealer and are anywhere near Chino, you might want to try MK Smith Chevrolet.
