Good Day!

Helm produces all (?) GM factory shop manuals. They cost 5X or more than ones available at parts stores, are 100X as valuable.

TrueNorth;
If you do not want to pay a small fortune new manuals you can go to www.factoryautomanuals.com (http://www.factoryautomanuals.com) and pick up some second hand ones in good shape for less than what you would have to buy the new ones. This includes exchange and shipping from the Midwest. Since you are living in the grey town you are closer than I am. I spent about $105.00 after exchange. I just checked the site he has a set for the '98s but not the '97. you should contact him and let him know you are interested in a set. Good Luck.

I bought the Helms manuels, as I have always done.
But I was very disappointed in the newer Manuels,
96 and later I am told were updated for " Idiots "
Now most of the trouble shooting is , one step at a time " which I will bet is not how Service Dept's do it,

Electrical schmatics " suck " also....
Many mistakes also, And grammer is some foriegner
translation to english, Look out for ommision
of key words which change meaning

Good Luck,,,,

There was a referance in past posts to some other
Publisher. Don't remember the name..
