View Full Version : HelmInc stated that 02 manuals are in.
As of 8/20/02 HelmInc stated that the manuals for 2002 are in and can be ordered. I have ordered mine, let's see if it is for real. An additional note, website still states that they "out of stock" and are backordered. If you want to order you must call the 800 number.
Is this the one?????? If so no mention of backorder for 01......

Ditto - after reading the above, I phoned Helm on the 800 line at 1:40PDT today 8/20/02, and was told they have a "limited number of manuals going fast". Ordered mine - 8 to 10 days to arrive. Go get them!

I should of added above - Helm does not have a backorder system. They have only kept your name and address from prior inquiries over the past 10 months and promised to send you a card. Don't rely on them having units by the time your card arrives and don't rely on the web page - use their toll free number found on the web page.
Ordered. I asked if this was the five volume set and she said yes. 7 to 10 days. We'll see.

I just ordered one off the website...they let me place the order and all! I guess we'll see if it shows up!

I just ordered a set. Girl at Helms said there was plenty. No shipping charges but $6.95 handling. At 23 lbs 2nd or 3rd day UPS was $28 and next day was $60.

Thanks for the post, ordered mine yesterday.
Bob
Ive got my manual on the way.
Mines at the Dealer. Will pick it up today. Apparently it was in for awhile. I was on a big fire in Southern Ca. and couldn't get in to get it. We have an excellant parts dept in Ukiah, and when I couldn't get it they ordered it through their dealer network assuming they would go to the dealers first. They were right. Not sure of the exact cost, but was told it would be around $100 my cost. tpitt
p.s. This is for a G.M.C. though. Chevy guys probably have to wait for recycled paper. :D :D :D tpitt

Just placed the order for mine. Can't wait to get it. I hope it has info about the Duramax, and maybe even some high idle schematics.

^...DieselEnvy, how many volumes with the set? I read somewhere on here that there was 5 volumes. I called and they (Helms) quoted 1. Please clarify.
Happy Dieseling!

NutNbutGMC,
I ordered my manuals on 08-20-02 and they arrived today. The manuals consist of 5 volumes and weigh about 22 lbs for the complete set. The part number for the 2002 set is: GMT02CK8PU.
Hope this answers your question.
Later, Joe smile.gif
