transfercase

I took my '03 dmax to the dealer for a front left bearing to be fixed. I got the truck back with the same front end noise. I took it back and they said it was the t-case. Ok They took it apart and found that the chain in the t-case was streched so they are going to replace it along with the sprockets inside.
Anyone else had this problem?

Was your noise also just when turning to the right a bit - see my other thread regarding left front wheel noise?

no. just anytime I hit any type of bump.
