I have been looking into handling the Allison spin on filters. I have found a source for them but I would have to sell them for 11.50 each. What do you all think of that price?

Greg, I'd buy a couple for that price would save me a road trip to Kansas City. Be nice to have the ring magnet that cost about $2.00 I think also for a spare. Hope you sell them soon I'm ready.

The last one I bought from the dealer was $16.70. Off the shelf price comparison is a no brainer. Shipping costs will narrow some of that difference.

My nearest Allison shop is 1 1/2 hrs away (except at 3 AM when there's no traffic) ;)

The 11.50 + shipping would be a considerable bargain - hope you decide in favor.

Well I guess this poll decides what I will be doing. I can't get them till Tues. but we will have them.

The allison dealer delivers them to my door
for $7.50. Actually I called The allison dealer
in Lima ohio,about 40 miles away to get a price.
He said they go by my place almost everyday to
deliver to several local trucking companys,and
would drop them off,no extra charge.

Greg, I think you carrying them will make them available to people who don't have the luxury of having a distributor locally. The price from the dealer is a little outrageous. Besides as long as your shipping does not mimic GMPartsdirect then you will be rather competitive, especially with an order of other merchandise.

Ya 8 bucks here a few exits away, but I enjoy the ride in the MAX....

I did call and get my oil from ya tho,hope it gets here tomorrow.....Hint Hint......Good looking out for the guys who can't get them locally on a quick scoot,the stealer is ridiculous....

Ditto on the Allison price. I paid about 8 bucks for my filter.
