AMSOIL Fluids

I have a 2006 GMC 2500HD with the Duramax LBZ and Allison being delivered on approximately 11/4/05. I told the dealer that I planned on switching to AMSOIL for all of my fluid after a reasonable break-in period. I was told that doing this would void both the Duramax and Allison warranties. I thought that changing to AMSOIL or simular fluids was pretty standard operating procedures????

Find another service dept and just don't tell them. They'll never know the difference. How ever it shouldn't matter, but sometimes it's better just to let stuff like this go as it's not worth p!ssing anyone off over. If that dealer wants to make a big deal over something thats nothing take your buisness elsewhere.

Had all my fluids changed over by the time it got to 2300 miles. Dealer does not know any different.
