I have a awesome 2003 GMC Duramax/Allison that is fast becoming my favorite vehicle. Last night I had to jump my sons F**d (go figure), well I could not get any juice from the "jump" connector on my GMC. I had to go directly off the battery. Does anyone know if there is any type of fuse or fusible link in this circuit? It makes no sense to me.

If it's like mine the ground tab isn't really grounded. Metal tab slipped over a painted one equals no ground. Haven't tried removing paint but I think that would fix the problem.
