I have had a bad squeal from the back of tranny transfer case brought it to the daeler last fall and they wanted to replace the tranny I told them to check the tail shaft seal and they told me thats not the problem and they still wanted to replace the tranny I know it's not the tranny the squeal happens when the truck is moving only not in park if I put the trans in neutral when moving I still get the noise it seems to happen the outside temp is 60 or above . so I jacked the truck up from the rear dif put the truck in drive and bingo I shot the tailshaft seal with wd40 and the noise went away but it comes back after two or three day I am getting tired of doing this so the truck is going in wednesday lets see if they get it right this time. has anyone had this problem?
