Anyone out there know if there is a for sure fix for the low speed, while turning, on uneven surfaces steering rattle problem? Anyone actually get the dealer to perform the fix? Mine just wants to lube the problem which works so-so for about two months. I have had this problem on all my 1500 and 2500 trucks. Any advice would be helpful so I can try to pin the local dealerships to fix my 8 month old vehicle that feels like it has worn out ball joints. Thanks.

There is a bearing replacement fix for the rattle. Most here have had it performed and it fixed their "rattle". I have had it done and it is better, but not perfect.

I had the new bearing done a few weeks ago on my 2002 after 23k miles of procrastination and dealing with the annoyance. Got to say it's the best thing I did as the truck is like a new vehicle now - nice and tight steering - and no more rattle!!!

Paintdude ,

If it is not a TSB then it is on GM's Techlink site for something. Maybe it was on the Nut and Bolt. When I go back to work, I cna get it. I don't have that site saved her and I can't find it.
