air vents going crazy???

when i am driving i notice that air keeps coming out of my vents when my air is off. and it will work with the temp knob. when it is on coldest it is cold and when it is on warmest it gets warm. what up with this?

It's normal. Must have minimum air exchange. Use the search feature as this was discussed previously.

If I remember correctly the "classic" style trucks automatically put the airflow to the floor when in the "off" position. I kinda like the ability to change where the air flow is going even though you cannot really shut it off altogether.

With the fan controlled turned to "off", press the recirc button. That will dramatically reduce the amount of air blowing out of the vents.
