Allison ???????

Does anyone out there tow with the Allison tranny and keep the trans in TOW/HAUL mode even on the highway?

I did this weekend and the trans seems to run at about 180 degrees. Without the trailer and out of tow mode, it runs about 130 degrees.

I have a camper and tow a horse trailer. I only put mine in the tow/haul mode when i'm in the hills so I can take advantage of the tranny braking feature.
My temp gauge runs at 180 to 190 all the time even empty, I've often wondered about that.
