TSB for NSBU???

Is there a TSB for the replacement of the NSBU on the Alison trannies? My son has three trucks that ALL developed the same shifting problem within an hour of each other. One was under warranty, one was 1700 miles out of warranty and the third truck has 84K+

GM is refusing to repay him for the truck 1700 miles out of warranty and the GM "lady" claims her supervisor has NEVER HEARD of the problem. Having a TSB would really help him out.

When changing the NSBU switch, will you get a SES light, or is it a simple swap? Thanks

it's a simple swap and unless you had a ses light on before you shouldn't set a ses light.

Yea I just went through the BS of GM saying they know nothing about the NSBU problem, even though it had been in a shop under warrenty and NO PROBLEM FOUND because they didn't have enough time (they had it 8 hours!) Gave up like they wanted me to and learned how to fix it myself for $95.00 cdn.
