Allison quick learn

I bought a new size of tires and want to have my tranny relearn its shifting. Is there a way that I can put the tranny into quick learn without a computer or such.

Only with a Tech 2 or Quadzilla Stealth tuner. It should pick up the tire size change pretty good by itself though...

I remember a post saying that if over 50 MPH drop the trans shifter to 1, the lowest gear and let the vehicle coast down to a stop. The Allison will not overrev the engine or explode due to programming to prevent shifting until ground and engine speeds are in their proper parameters. Then the Allison relearns, like day one all over again. Anyone care to verify or dispell?? thanks bob.........
