Battery feed tailer recepticale

I can't get any voltage reading for the battery feed from the 7/8-way receptacle. This is a 02 DMax with the fifth wheel harness option. Everything else lights, brakes etc. works, just no voltage to keep my battery charged in my 5th wheel. I have good continuity for the + between the bumper plug in and the 5th wheel plug in. I can see where the 5th wheel harness plugs, but it is right above the spare tire and I'm unable to lower the spare because I can't get the #@!&^~ tool to catch.

Anyone with any ideas?

Just Found my answer in the accessories forum. There was a tag on the brake wiring harness that said the 40-amp fuse is not needed when you have dual batts. However, you still need a fuse on the battery feed. 40 amp, Stud # 1.
