Only have 2147 KM on my new truck and has gone through one very mild winter. Noticed the other day my rear bumper where the lower black step pad meets the chrome is rusting along with some minor areas on the bumper face. Tried to clean but could not get into the crack due to the black pad. The other spots came off easily. Didn't want to try taking pad off for fear of breaking the tabs so went to dealer to get him to take pad off. He took one look and said to come back mid March. I started to get a little ticked and asked why the delay and he said he wanted to get into good weather before he replaced bumper.
The dealers actions on this certainly gets a thumbs up.
Anyone else have a problem like this? smile.gif

I hope not. Mine was new in September but will check it.

I've got a ton of rust on the inside of my bumpers, but not on the outside (yet anyway).

My front "bumper" has had surface rust on the inside since day 1 and this truck was built in July. You can easily see it in the air openings in the center of the bumper. More than one person has commented. Guess I'll have to clean and paint the rust till I decide on a real bumper for this truck.
